Each pH and redox electrode is a high-quality product.
Every electrode is individually tested and carefully packaged before shipment.
Electrodes should be stored in a dry environment at temperatures between -5°C and +30°C.
Due to the limited shelf-life of pH and redox electrodes, storage longer than 6 months is not recommended.
All electrodes are supplied with a rinsing cap or storage container to prevent the sensing elements from drying out during transport and storage.
Electrodes must be stored in a 3 mol/L KCl solution to maintain sensor performance and longevity.
The storage solution prevents drying of the sensing element and ensures stable measurement characteristics.
If an electrode has been stored dry for an extended period, it must be conditioned before use.
Conditioning Procedure:
Immerse the electrode in a 3 mol/L KCl solution.
Allow it to remain submerged for approximately 24 hours.
This process ensures the electrode is fully hydrated and restores its measurement accuracy.
Handle the pH-sensitive glass membrane with care:
Avoid skin contact
Protect against mechanical damage or scratches
Ensure that electrical connections and cables are kept clean and dry at all times.
Store electrodes in a dry room at -5 to +30°C.
Do not store electrodes longer than 6 months.
Use the rinsing cap or container provided.
Store in 3 mol/L KCl solution.
Condition electrodes after extended dry storage.
Handle the glass membrane carefully.
Keep cables and connectors clean and dry.
