Purpose:
This post provides guidance on admin-level hidden functions in AQUIS 500 devices. These functions allow access to debug information, probe calibration, configuration initialization, and emergency access.
| Code | Function | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 2222 | Debug Code | Displays debug information such as current error status (bitfield) and AD counter values. |
| 3000 | Probe Calibration | Initiates probe calibration for all measurement ranges (similar to factory calibration, without setup). |
| 3579 | Grant Full Access | Changes all parameters from read-only to editable. |
| 7485 | Configuration Initialization | Sets device language to English. |
| 8192 | Configuration Reset | Resets device to JUMO factory configuration. Calibration constants remain. ⚠️ Customer-specific settings will be lost. |
| 9753 | Emergency Code | Grants admin access if the original code has been changed and forgotten. |
These functions are undocumented and intended for service and technical support.
Use caution with configuration reset (8192) to avoid overwriting customer-specific settings.
Ensure proper authorization before entering any admin code.
Incorrect use may impact device behavior.
Admin-level codes in the AQUIS 500 series provide:
Access to hidden debug and status information
Probe calibration routines
Full parameter editing rights
Language configuration
Factory reset while retaining calibration constants
Emergency admin access
These functions are essential for service engineers to maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate devices efficiently.
